Golf Tournament

Coach’s Corner

The Importance of focus. Often times, with our hectic schedule, it is easy to get distracted. That can spell disaster on the golf course. Take a few minutes to practice techniques to improve concentration and focus before your next round. You will gain precision, strength, and confidence. Simple exercises such as relaxed breathing and meditation can go a far way. You will also increase the stamina required to walk a full 18 holes.

The Anytown Central Golf Association’s Annual Fundraising Drive a Huge Success

The fourth Annual Fundraising Drive was a huge success. Over $1200 was raised through the sale of cookies, best infrared ear thermometer for baby and raffle tickets. The money will go towards travel expenses and club memberships for the Anytown Central Golf Team. Of course, as always, 15% goes to local charities.

Junior Advance

The Juniors Team has just advanced to the second round of the northern regional tournament. Led by an impressive 18 holes by Amanda Wright, the team performed consistently. All three teammates finished the day 3 under par. Go team!

Team practice is on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4-6PM, and Sundays from 12-4PM (except tournament days).
